The 2019 Toyota TRD Pro Series Debuts in Chicago
The Toyota brand’s long history in off-road racing gave way to Toyota Racing Development (TRD), a division of Toyota Motor Corporation since 2014 that has designed and engineered some of the auto industry’s finest off-road equipment. The latest example of the TRD Pro Series debuts at the Chicago Auto Show, with the 2019 Toyota 4Runner, 2019 Toyota Tacoma, and 2019 Toyota Tundra all featuring special TRD Pro trims.
From now through Feb. 18, Toyota lovers worldwide can get up-close with these three vehicles and learn how the TRD Pro series integrates with each one. All three models will share certain features, including Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks and three different color choices: Super White, Midnight Blue Metallic, and Voodoo Blue (exclusive to TRD Pro vehicles). Each vehicle gets its own unique enhancements too. For example, the 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro gets new all-weather LED fog lights, new 18-inch BBS forged-aluminum, five-spoke black wheels, and a new Toyota grille and hood scoop on the outside, complemented by interior upgrades like red stitching accents, a TRD shift knob, and TRD Pro logos on the front seats.
The 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will make a big splash with its available, all-new TRD Desert Air Intake. This innovation ensures that this truck’s engine breathes clean air in dirty/silty/sandy terrain, resulting in better performance and increased engine longevity. And for Toyota of Newnan customers considering a Toyota 4Runner, this legendary SUV’s 2019 TRD Pro variation comes with a new roof rack, a front skid plate, 17-inch matte-black alloy wheels, and a newly-standard Entune™ Premium JBL sound system with navigation and streaming apps.
As one of the most respected car dealerships in Newnan, GA, you can bet we’ll have these special models in our showroom when they arrive this fall!
